Biography
Ryan Cedeno, M.S., CSCS is an Instructor of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Barry University. His academic and professional focus includes strength and conditioning, human performance, and practical coaching applications. Ryan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Barry University in 2023 and completed his Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Human Performance in 2024.
A Miami native, he brings over a decade of experience coaching youth, collegiate, and general populations. His instructional areas include resistance training, performance testing, program design, and applied coaching. Ryan regularly presents at regional and national conferences, contributing to the field of athletic development and evidence-based practice.
Rooted in his own journey of hard work and growth, Ryan’s teaching philosophy emphasizes real-world application, hands-on learning, and continuous improvement. His goal is to help students build confidence and competence both in the classroom and in the field. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and spending time with his wife and two children in Miami, Florida.
